
African velvet tamarind is the fruit of a native West African tree called Dialium Guineense. Popularly known as Awin in Yoruba, Icheku in Igbo and Tsamiyar kurm in Hausa, Velvet Tamarind is a seasonal fruit with a sweet and tangy taste.
